Aide à l'Enfance de l'Inde et du Népal

Aide à l’Enfance de l’Inde et du Népal (AEIN) is a non-profit association run by three permanent and about twenty volunteers active in three working groups (projects, awareness raising, communication) and the board of directors. Since 1967, AEIN has been active in India, and over the past 20 years it has gradually expanded its operations in Nepal.

Currently, AEIN supports more than 20 development projects, with an annual budget of almost €1.3 million, and carries out various outreach activities in Luxembourg.

Frères des hommes

Frères des Hommes (FDH) is a development NGO founded in 1974 in Luxembourg, without political or religious affiliation. It bases its activities on long-term partnership with Southern interlocutors (non-governmental organizations, social movements, grassroots associations, etc.). This approach involves sharing ideals and objectives, supporting new or existing projects and co-responsibility.

The target audiences in the South are therefore involved in all stages of the projects supported by Frères des Hommes: from the conception to the elaboration and realization of its activities.

Fondation Follereau

The Follereau Foundation is a non-governmental development organization whose primary vocation is to promote human solidarity and fight against all forms of exclusion, initially exclusion caused by leprosy disease.

Today, the Follereau Foundation is involved in development cooperation through its projects aimed at improving community public health, including maternal and child health, prevention and follow-up of women who have been excised or malnutrition. It also helps children and young people in distress with vocational training and protection projects against child trafficking or child labour in nine African countries.

Iles de paix

With the motto, “If I get a fish, I’ll eat. If I learn to fish, I’ll eat my whole life!” , Iles de Paix has been training and supporting rural populations in precarious situations for more than 50 years so that they can ensure their food security and improve their quality of life in a sustainable and autonomous manner.

In Africa and Latin America, the teams of the Iles de Paix are engaged daily on the ground to promote sustainable family farming and responsible food. The beneficiaries are trained in the use of more cost-effective and environmentally friendly farming techniques, the development of income-earning activities (livestock farming, small businesses, etc.) or the management of their farms. The association is currently active in Burkina Faso, Benin, Tanzania, Uganda and Peru.



PADEM is an NGO approved by the Ministry of Luxembourg Affairs and recognized by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. It aims to improve the quality of life of vulnerable populations, especially children, in developing countries through sustainable actions based on partnership with local civil society actors, the constant search for the fulfilment of the fundamental rights of the beneficiaries, all in the strictest respect of their culture.

For more than 15 years, PADEM has been committed to improving the living conditions of children and their parents on a daily basis by taking action around the world in areas such as housing, education, the economy, food security and health.

Unity Foundation

Unity Foundation was established in Luxembourg in 1980 as a “public utility establishment”. In 1991, Unity Foundation was recognized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Since its inception, Unity Foundation has been active in various education projects around the world. Currently Unity Foundation focuses its efforts on two types of projects: community schools and Social Action Readiness Programmes (PAS).

The main objective of Unity Foundation is to present the current challenges of education in the countries of the South and thus to arouse curiosity and debate with children/young people by witnessing the values of our NGO and especially of our different active partners in the field at 4 Corners of the World.
